All night scene lighting in Tiananmen Square uses LED light source

From the press conference held at the Beijing International Media Center on the 30th, it was learned that during the Beijing Olympic Games, a series of colorful cultural and artistic performances and sports and fitness demonstrations will be held on Tiananmen Square. The current performances and demonstrations have been released and the event will be held. Time is between 7 am and 9 am.

According to reports, during the Olympics, the flower bed landscape of Tiananmen Square was generally open to visitors before 24:00, and all night lighting used a lot of energy-saving LED light sources.

From August 1st to 3rd, there will be more than 50 outstanding works featuring ethnic and local characteristics from Shanxi, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangdong, Hebei and other places in the Tiananmen Square and the wonderful performances of the 2008 International Middle School Students Orchestra. Like Shanxi's symbolic drums with strong local characteristics and unique styles, folk lanterns such as Haiming Lantern, Qingtian Fishing Lantern and Zhuyelong brought by Zhejiang farmers, and Kirin Dance with more than 400 years of history in Guangdong.

From August 4th to 14th, Tiananmen Square will host a Beijing citizen sports and fitness exchange exhibition. At that time, there will be participants from urban and some city-level individual sports associations. The specific exchange performance projects are divided into two categories: one is ethnic Traditional sports such as Chinese martial arts, fitness yangko, kicking scorpions, fitness balls, etc.; the other is fashion sports, including aerobics, street dance, row dance, roller skating, sports dance and so on. In addition to Tiananmen Square, Beijing Diantan Park, Rendinghu Park and other morning and evening training venues, there are also citizens' spontaneous fitness and exchange performance activities.

On August 15th and August 18th to August 22nd, Tiananmen Square will hold a cultural and art competition and an exhibition of intangible cultural heritage.

According to reports, the layout of the flower beds on Tiananmen Square consists of the central flower beds, the flower beds on both sides of the east and west, and the flower beds in front of the monument. The flower beds are prominently featured in the Olympic theme, using more than 130 rare varieties of flowers, which will continue until October.
