Australian University has developed LED light glasses with adjustable biological clocks

February 17, 2023
In 2003, Flinders University of Australia developed a LED light glasses. Recently, this product has finally released a commercial product, the name changed to Re-timer.

The product emits soft green light against the eyes, helping the wearer to reset the body clock in the body to accommodate parallax, help shift workers to get their attention or make getting up in the morning easier. Researchers say that wearing a fixed time at different times of the day can advance or delay the body's biological clock as desired.

According to Professor LeonLack, the main inventor of Re-timer, this rechargeable portable device is safer and more effective than drugs. The device weighs 75g and is designed with the glasses in mind, so the wearer can still wear the device while wearing the glasses without affecting reading or work. The Re-timer works with a rechargeable lithium battery and it takes only four hours to complete a full charge using the USB cable.
