The AP2401 is a PWM operating mode with high efficiency, simple peripherals, and built-in power transistors. It is a high precision step-down LED constant current driver IC for 5-100V input. The maximum output power is up to 10W and the maximum current is 1A.
The AP2401 can realize two-stage function switching, and switch two function modes through MODE2/3: full-on, half-bright, full-on/half-on/flash cycle mode.
AP2401 operating frequency is fixed at 150KHZ left
Right, with built-in frequency-hopping circuit, can reduce EMI interference to other devices. In addition, the average current sampling mode is used to improve the current accuracy under a wide input voltage.
The AP2401 has an output short-circuit protection function. Under 5V to 100V input conditions, a short-time short circuit will not damage the power supply unit.
The AP2401 also has the function of over-temperature regulation. When the temperature inside the chip reaches about 140 °C, the output current is automatically reduced.
