Cree Introduces New XLamp® XM-L2 LED Light Efficiency up to 186lm/W

Cree's commercial XLamp® XM-L2 LEDs once again set a milestone in LED industry performance. The new XLamp® XM-L2 LED delivers up to 186 lm/W at 350 mA and 25 °C, enabling performance levels that were achieved three years ago in laboratory light.

Based on Cree's revolutionary SC3 TechnologyTM next-generation platform, the new XLamp® XM-L2 LED achieves multiplier (lm/$) and 20% higher light efficiency than previous generation XLamp® XM-L products, helping lamps Manufacturers can get better lighting systems and lower costs with a smaller number of LED devices.
