Dongfeng Peugeot's new 508 uses LED light source to make the whole vehicle "satisfied"

Dongfeng Peugeot's new 508 appeared in the 2014 Chengdu Motor Show Exhibition Hall. The new 508 uses Peugeot's new family-style front face design. According to previous reports, the new domestic 508 is expected to be officially launched in January next year.

The new car uses Peugeot Group's latest family design language, with a tiered grille on the front and three crossbars on the top, while the logo of the lion is moved from the bonnet to the grille. In the center of the three horizontal bars, the front face is dynamic and refined. The new style of lion's eye headlights and lion's claw taillights use a full LED light source and echo each other, which is a lot of gas for the whole car.

In terms of configuration, the new 508 will be equipped with a 7-inch touch screen and integrated in-vehicle interconnection system, which provides the owner with information on external weather conditions, traffic conditions and the nearest parking lot. In addition, the new car is also equipped with four-zone air conditioning, electronic hand brakes, head-up display and so on.

The new 508 will be equipped with a 1.6T turbocharged engine developed by PSA Group in cooperation with BMW. The maximum output is 121kW (165PS), which is matched with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The new car is also expected to launch the 1.8T power model, which has a maximum power output of 147kW (200PS) and a peak torque of 280Nm.
