The 6th China Ancient Town International Lighting Fair was held in Zhongshan Guzhen Town, Guangdong Province, with more than 600 domestic and foreign companies exhibiting. Most companies indicated that they will actively explore the domestic market to cope with the financial crisis.

At the opening ceremony on the 18th, the organizer of the Fair, the Guzhen Government of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, signed a purchase and sales contract with China Lighting City in Zou District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and Jinfu Lighting City in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. According to the organizing committee of the Fair, more than 600 exhibitors participated in this year, and 2,156 booths were opened. The largest special booths have an area of ​​500 square meters, all setting a historical record. The number of domestic and international professional visitors who registered to attend the conference increased by 7.7% compared with the same period of last year. The dealers' intention to purchase the conference was about 1.5 billion yuan. On the opening day, more than 150 lighting city owners from the mainland visited the conference.

The 70-year-old buyers of the Guzhen Light Fair are mainland merchants. In response to the current market changes and the actual needs of enterprises, the organizing committee of this year's Light Expo will adjust the ideas for recruitment, attracting more foreign-invested enterprises that focus on the domestic market, and attracting a number of mainland enterprises that are exporting to the domestic market. The Dongguan Taiwan Business Association has organized more than a dozen export-oriented Taiwan-funded enterprises that have been greatly affected by the financial crisis to enter the marketing platform of Guzhen.

In order to help lighting companies to expand into emerging markets, this year's exhibition will continue to cooperate with professional media such as the United States and Italy. This year, it will cooperate with Dubai's "Bay Home Decoration Magazine" and Spain's "Professional Lighting Magazine" and increase in South America and Brazil. Propaganda efforts in countries such as the Middle East. Judging from the dealer survey, a large number of new buyers contacted by the Expo this year came from South America, Brazil, and the Middle East.

Zhongshan Guzhen is China's largest professional lighting production base and wholesale market in 2008. The town has registered more than 6,100 lighting companies, civil lighting accounted for more than 60% of the national market share, and exported to more than 130 countries and regions.
