How does the Philips HLD LED system work? Independent consumer research firm Insight Media surveys show that more than two-thirds of respondents prefer projectors with Philips ColorSpark HLD LED systems instead of projectors with other leading projection systems. The survey was conducted among 300 people to evaluate the image quality of four unidentified projectors. Among them, 68% of respondents prefer the Philips ColorSpark HLD LED system projector, which has the best contrast, the best image quality and the most pleasing color; only 30% of the respondents choose laser phosphor technology.

Image quality determines whether you can really immerse yourself in movies, concerts or ball games. The Philips ColorSpark HLD LED system combines high-level LED-based brightness with crisp, vivid colors to deliver brilliant performance on the screen.

The Philips ColorSpark HLD LED projection system lets you see anything on the screen with sharp clarity and vivid colors. Philips' new technology delivers 4 times more light than current LED technology , and triples the brightness of the projected image to deliver superior color performance.

In the test, compared to laser phosphors and traditional LED technology projectors, the Philips ColorSpark system RGB mode is the preferred light source in this brightness segment.

“So far, the projection market has not yet launched LED projectors with 2500 Alm or more,” said Leo Schouten of Philips Digital Projection Lighting. "The first LED-based projectors will now be able to compete with non-projection display technology, whether in any environment where the lights are on or the curtains are open.
