Shanghai Longmao launches LED street light PWM dimming controller

Shanghai Longmao Microelectronics Co., Ltd. further developed a program dimming system for successful AC LED street lights after the successful dimming of solar LED street lights. The system uses the same principle to perform pulse width modulation (PWM) program dimming of LEDs. With this new dimmable controller SLM4801, curve dimming can also be performed, thus saving a lot of energy. As shown in the figure below, if you use curve dimming, you can save at least 40%.


This controller connection is very simple, just connect two power input lines and one PWM dimming output line. The power line is the DC voltage applied to the LED constant current drive module, so there is a positive (red) negative (black); and the PWM dimming output line (blue) is added to the LED constant current with PWM dimming function. With a single controller, several constant current control modules can be controlled simultaneously. The number of controls that can be controlled is virtually unlimited, since controlled constant current modules have input impedances above 100k ohms.
