In recent years, LED has become the most popular new-generation light source in the world, achieving high-speed growth of spurt type. The overcapacity of the LED industry and the price war are becoming more and more acute. Coupled with the downward pressure of the economy, the LED industry has experienced an unprecedented downturn. .

However, the current LED industry is still the "blue chip + phosphor" packaging technology, which makes LED lamp applications mainly limited to the general lighting field. To make matters worse, most of the technologies and patents in the global LED field are occupied by a few large companies in developed countries such as the United States, Japan, and Germany, making Chinese companies like a sword of Damocles.

According to Ye Shanghui, executive deputy general manager of Zhongke Core Source, “In the traditional packaging method, foreign patents have covered the core technology of LEDs, forming a technical barrier. Chinese companies are making products under the framework of this patent. It is difficult to break through the barriers formed by the market. If you want to change the status quo, you need to break through the materials first."

In this context, Zhongke Core Source was inspired by the research on laser ceramic materials of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and made a patent breakthrough in the use of fluorescent ceramics from materials and packaging methods. The combination of transparent fluorescent ceramics and LEDs has developed a 1000W ultra-high power LED light source, which has created a revolutionary breakthrough in China's LED industry technology.

It is worth mentioning that at the 2016 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, Zhongke Core Source launched a 1000W ultra-high power LED light source and caused a lot of visitors to admire.

Under the pressure of higher and higher technical standards, Zhongke Core Sources thought of using fluorescent ceramics as packaging materials. Because ceramic is an inorganic material, the structure of inorganic materials is relatively stable. It will not age, will not deteriorate, and will not change some characteristics of the material itself after long-term use and long-term storage.

According to Ye Shanghui, "Fluorescent ceramic packaging technology has the characteristics of high thermal conductivity, high temperature thermal stability, etc., combined with low thermal resistance packaging technology, for the dual heat source of COB light source, the original thermal management solution of COB light source on the package structure is proposed. The high-power high-density COB light source is operated at a lower equilibrium temperature, and the fluorescent ceramic packaging technology is applied to solve the high integration density of the light source package, the light source area is small, and the heat conduction can be realized efficiently. The breakthrough of the K-COB technology is to realize the super High density integrated light source."

Indeed, through the innovation of materials, the ultra-high-power light source developed by Zhongke Core Source will drive LED lighting into industrial, mining, sports lighting, port terminals, airports and other applications that require long-distance projection.

After the technology has achieved results, Ye Shanghui believes that it is necessary to transform through the enterprise, combine the existing production technology to form large-scale production, and then form productivity. Therefore, Zhongke Core Source has introduced some investments, plus the original patented technology, to quickly transform from scientific and technological achievements to production.
