Toshiba has introduced a new LED light control relay. This relay is capable of reducing current by 80% compared to previous models.
The new product model, the TLP171, features a high-brightness LED that controls the maximum trigger LED current to 0.2mA, while the previous TLP170 series only controlled the maximum trigger LED current to 1.0mA.
The reduced power consumption allows developers to select battery-driven or direct-drive from the microcontroller, helping to reduce the number of peripherals and reduce the size of the set design. The new products are suitable for applications such as mechanical relays, safety systems, measurement and control instruments, factory automation control systems and game consoles.
