Where is the LED light sold? American state energy rankings tell you

July 05, 2023
Do you know where LED lights are most popular? Which countries should be given priority to sell LED lights? Is the waste of American cockroaches also beginning to pay attention to energy conservation? Do you know which state is the most energy-conscious in the US?

Recently, the US Energy Efficiency Economics Commission (ACEEE) published a survey report on the National Energy Scorecard State Scorecard to investigate the achievements of the US states in energy conservation.

As we all know, Blu-ray LED won the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics for its innovative approach and energy saving and environmental protection. In the award speech, “LED is both energy-saving and environmentally friendly. It consumes 90% less electricity than conventional incandescent lamps, 30%-40% less than fluorescent lamps, and contains no mercury. It is an ideal new light source for green environmental protection.” LED energy-saving and environmental protection wars can't help LEDs. Then let's take a look at which states need LED lights more.

The following is the main content of the report:

In 2014, Massachusetts, Massachusetts, became the most energy-efficient state in the United States for the first time. The next top ten are: Rhode Island Rhode Island, Oregon Oregon and Vermont Vermont (tied third); Connecticut Connecticut (#6); New York New York (#7); Washington Washington (#8) ; Maryland Maryland (#9); and Minnesota Minnesota (#10).

With state-of-the-art energy efficiency in the state of Arkansas, the state increased energy efficiency by 30% between 2012 and 2013, saving about twice as much electricity. Colombia and Wisconsin also performed significantly in terms of energy efficiency. Kentucky has adopted a more effective energy efficiency code for commercial buildings and has achieved significant results.

In 2014, in the bottom five, the need to improve energy efficiency is North Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Wyoming, South Dakota, South Dakota, Mississippi, Miss., and Alaska, Alaska.

Overall, states are accelerating their commitment to improving energy efficiency. According to the ACEEE report, in terms of power generation efficiency savings plan, in 2013, a total of 24.4 million megawatt hours (MWh), energy efficiency increased by 7% compared with 2011. Saving 276 million kcal (MMTherms), energy efficiency scorecard display is 19% less than in 2011.

ACEEE found that enforcement and adequate funding for EERS investments are used in energy efficiency projects in the utility sector, with the most aggressive states targeted for cost reductions including Arizona, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Maggie Molina, principal of the ACEEE committee and local legislator, said: "More and more governors and state legislators understand that they have two choices in the face of costly energy waste: whether they are waiting or not, or take action to establish Incentives to reduce waste of energy. The state is taking action to improve energy efficiency, promote investment in various economic sectors, create jobs, and offset the environmental hazards caused by energy production systems."

Other key findings include:

The leaders of the utility's energy efficiency programs and policies are Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Vermont. With a detailed track record of success, all three states are constantly leveraging cost-effective programs and policies. Massachusetts and Rhode Island receive the highest scores in this category.

The leader in building energy codes and compliance is California. Eleven states and the District of Columbia have officially regarded it as the latest standard for residential and commercial buildings.

The way to transport energy-saving policies is to look at California and New York. California's Greenhouse Gas Emissions Requirement (GHG) is designed to identify the smart growth of several strategies; and New York is one of the few states in the country that targets emission reductions to specific vehicle miles.

Other states have also achieved the latest breakthrough in energy efficiency. Nevada earns additional points for its building codes and compliance measures. In early July, Delaware passed a significant energy efficiency bill that laid the foundation for customers' investment in energy efficiency projects. This policy bill has not improved its ranking this year, but the implementation of the project and the implementation of the regulations are likely to seek extra points after the revision of the national scorecard.

Puerto Rico, Guam and the US Virgin Islands have taken steps to improve the energy efficiency of new buildings through the adoption of building energy codes, but other industries generally do not make energy efficiency investments. These autonomous regions were included in the National Scorecard for the first time this year.

Annie Gilleo, ACEEE National Policy Research Analyst and Editor-in-Chief of the 2014 National Energy Efficiency Scorecard, said: “The National Scorecard provides an annual benchmark for progress on national energy efficiency policies and programs. It encourages states to continue to strengthen their efficiency commitments in order to promote the economy. Growth, ensuring environmental benefits, and increasing the vibrancy of their communities, in the face of the energy resources they depend on for survival and unknown costs. The National Scorecard is an energy-saving toolkit that can be adjusted by state policy makers to adjust to each state.
