Yangzhou factory assists LED optical manufacturer Red Dick Q2 to double interest

On June 3, LED optical manufacturer Red Dick Optics Co., Ltd. held a regular shareholder meeting, which also means that Red Dick is the first LED factory in Taiwan to hold a shareholders' meeting.

The new plant in Leidike, Yangzhou, was launched in May. The total production capacity is more than twice that of the Dongguan plant, which will help drive the monthly revenue to a record high. At the same time, with the increase in the penetration rate of LED lighting, Redditch's May revenue is expected to hit a new monthly high, and the second quarter profit has at least doubled.

Radek said that as system manufacturers actively introduce full-circle LED bulbs, the demand for secondary optical lenses is booming, and May revenue is expected to hit a new high. Although there are inventory variables in June, the June revenue is still there. The opportunity will go higher and the second half will go all the way to the end of the year.

The gross profit margin of Reddike declined from 51.5% in the fourth quarter of last year to 43.34% in the first quarter of this year. The main reason was that the Yangzhou plant joined the operation in the first quarter. In the first quarter of last year, there were only 120 units, and the number increased to 160 units in the first quarter of this year. Depreciation and labor costs will increase by NT$7 million (the same below), resulting in an impact on gross margin, but from the second quarter onwards, the net profit margin will exceed 19% of last year's high.
