Compared with ordinary traffic lights, solar traffic lights are characterized by low carbon, environmental protection, and energy saving. These photovoltaic panels can store solar energy under sunlight and convert it into electricity to power traffic lights. Internally, crystalline silicon solar modules for solar traffic signals can be used for 15 to 20 years. There is no noise during power generation, and it can work normally in the environment from -40 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius. In normal times, excess energy can be stored in the battery, ensuring that the signal light can be used for six consecutive days of rainy weather, and that no personnel duties are required during operation.

The reporter noticed that there was a black brake mark on the road near the solar traffic lights at the intersection of East Lake Road and Qianxin Road. A passing driver said: “This is the driver saw the traffic lights and left here by sudden braking. The flow of traffic on this road is relatively small. Under conditions permitting, Kunming Liad Technology Development Co., Ltd. intends to install a video surveillance system on the solar traffic lights at the intersection of East Lake Road and Qianxin Road to further improve the traffic capacity of road junctions and ensure the smoothness and safety of road junctions. .
