Recently, the "Plant Factory Innovation Innovation Conference" was held at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. At the meeting, Beijing Zhonghuan Access Facilities Horticulture Technology Co., Ltd. launched the newly-developed home-plant plant and home gardening products. They also cooperated with Philips Lighting of the Netherlands, Mitsubishi Chemical of Japan, Electrics of Panasonic (China), Taiwan Yiguang, Dozens of internationally renowned companies such as Yangzi Electric and Oulin Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement and reached an agreement on technological innovation and market development in the fields of LED plant lighting sources, industrial control, air conditioning environmental control, and nutrient solution preparation, and signed strategic alliances. .

The home plant plant and family gardening products released this time all use LED lighting, which is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly. LED as a light source for plants can be widely used in plant cultivation, greenhouse light, plant tissue culture, plant factories, has the advantages of promoting plant growth, regulating plant morphology, energy conservation and environmental protection, not only can emit light and narrow red, orange Monochromatic light such as yellow, green, blue, infrared, etc. can be freely combined according to the different needs of plants and animals, and it is also a cold light source with low heat characteristics. It can illuminate plants at close range and improve space utilization, not only for agricultural organisms but also for It provides reasonable light environmental conditions, reduces the use of chemicals such as pesticides and hormones, ensures food safety, and is a low-energy green light source with broad application prospects. It is an important development trend for plant lighting sources in the future. 

The Institute of Agricultural Environment and Sustainable Development of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences has been engaged in research and application of LED in plant seedling factories since 2003. In 2006, it designed and built the first closed LED artificial light plant factory in the mainland, and developed the corresponding LED light environment control software and light environment control device. In April 2009, the research team also successfully developed the first intelligent plant factory in the mainland, using LED and fluorescent lamps as artificial light sources, and put into operation in Changchun.

Currently, Philips, Everlight, etc. have collaborated with the Academy of Agricultural Sciences on LED lighting in agriculture.

The convening of this conference not only marked the official birth of the first family-owned plant factory in mainland China, but also heralded the formal formation of a strategic alliance for plant plant research and development.
