Chinese-made LED light chain was issued a consumer warning by the European Union

On April 4th, the European Commission's non-food rapid warning system issued a consumer warning to the Chinese-made "Goobay" brand LED light chain. The notified country in this case is Finland.

The LED light chain of this announcement is equipped with power supply and blister packaging; the style/model is 30560 (power style/model: LYD1203000), the barcode is 4040849305603, and the OECD Portal Category is 78000000 (electrical). .

Due to insufficient insulation of the LED light chain and insufficient creepage/gap between the primary and secondary circuits, there is a risk of electric shock and does not comply with the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant standard EN60598-1.

At present, the Finnish authorities have taken measures to withdraw the market and recall it.
