Nissan High-End Light Truck Settled in Zhengzhou Nissan Production by Dongfeng Xiangfan Factory

Nissan’s high-end light-duty card, Kepstar, will settle in Zhengzhou Nissan in June next year, which will also be the first light truck launched by Zhengzhou Nissan.

Kaipu Shida's internal codename in Zhengzhou Nissan is F91A, which will be linked to the Japanese product brand logo. There are five models and Nissan's high-pressure common-rail diesel engine ZD30DDT may be used. Capstone will be produced by the Dongfeng shares in Xiangfan plant in Hubei Xiangfan.

Zhengzhou Nissan officials said that the existing factories of Zhengzhou Nissan and the second factory under construction will mainly produce light vehicles under 5 meters in size, mainly SUVs, pickup trucks and multi-functional commercial vehicles. Xiangfan is Dongfeng’s light truck production base. “Capestar” can make full use of production resources to save costs in Xiangfan production.
