1. Configure false label

2. Counterfeit chips


The core of LED lamps is the chip, which directly determines the performance of the lamp! 3. Copper wire pretends to be gold wire


Many LED manufacturers are trying to develop such as copper alloy, gold-clad silver alloy wire, and silver alloy wire to replace expensive gold wire. Although these alternatives are superior to gold wires in some characteristics, they are much worse in terms of chemical stability, such as silver wires and gold-clad silver alloy wires are susceptible to sulfur/chlorine/bromide corrosion, and copper wires are prone to oxidative sulfidation. For encapsulating silica gel similar to water-absorbent and breathable sponges, these alternatives make the bonding wire more susceptible to chemical corrosion, reduce the reliability of the light source, and make LED lamp beads more likely to break and die after a long time of use.

4. The design of the light distribution system of the street lamp is unreasonable


In terms of optical design, if the light distribution system of the street lamp is not designed properly, the lighting effect will not be ideal. During the test, problems such as "bright under the light", "black under the light", "zebra crossing", "uneven illumination" and "yellow circle" will appear.

5. Poor thermal design


In terms of heat dissipation design, every time the PN junction temperature of the LED chip increases by 10 degrees, the life of the semiconductor device will decrease exponentially. Due to the high brightness requirements of LED street lights, the use environment is relatively harsh. If the heat dissipation is not solved properly, it will quickly lead to LED aging and lower stability.

6. Power failure


In terms of driving power, if the power supply fails, during the test and inspection process, there will be phenomena such as "whole light off", "partial damage", "individual LED lamp bead dead", and "whole light flickering falsely bright".

7. Security failure


Safety issues are also worthy of serious attention: there is no leakage protection for the street lamp power supply; the quality of the street lamp ballast is shoddy; the circuit breaker has not been tested for sensitivity check, and the rated tripping current is too large; the metal sheath of the cable is used as the PE main line The process is complicated and the reliability is low; the IP waterproof and dustproof level is too low.

8. There are substances harmful to the light source in the light


The blackening of LED light sources is a problem often encountered by major LED companies. Most materials in lamps need to be checked for substances that affect the life of the light source. 3. Spot.


The "yellow circle" problem is easily caused due to the defects in the manufacturing process of the white light LED itself and the matching error with the reflective cup or lens.

4. LED illumination uniformity problem


If the secondary optical design is not carried out, the illumination of LED lighting products is relatively concentrated, so the secondary optical design must be carried out to make the light intensity distribution map in the shape of a bat.

5. LED light decay problem


6. Compared with low-power LEDs, the light decay of high-power LED street lights will be much better.


But low-power LED heat dissipation is very small. However, high-power LEDs have problems that cannot be solved by heat dissipation, and the brightness will decrease significantly after heating, so the power cannot be increased.
