Several reasons and solutions for solar street lights not working

Solar street lights are our lighting tools on the street, but some friends may find that sometimes some street lights will not light up, or flash on and off. The manufacturer summed up several problems and solutions for the street lights not working:

1. Reason: The hardware of the Solar Street Light system is damaged artificially, and the solar street light system cannot work normally.
Solution: Hardware repair or replace damaged hardware.

2. Reason: the line is aging or the line is disconnected, the solar street light system cannot work normally, and the LED will not light up or flicker.
Solution: Reconnect the wire or replace the wire.

3. Reasons: the positive and negative poles of the battery are reversed, poor contact, the service life is expired, the battery is damaged, etc., so that the battery cannot work normally, the voltage is too low, the solar street light system cannot work normally, the LED light is not on, the time of the light is not enough, the brightness Not enough, sometimes bright and sometimes not bright.
Solution: reconnect the battery, replace the battery, replace the terminal of the battery, repair the battery or replace the battery directly.

4. Reasons: The controller is set incorrectly, the solar street light system cannot work normally, the LED light is on and off, the time for the light is not enough, it is not on during the day or it is always on at night.
Solution: reset the controller, replace the controller directly.

5. Reason: The constant current source is damaged, the solar street light system cannot work, and the LED light will not light up or flicker.
Solution: Repair the constant current source or directly replace the constant current source.

6. Reason: The positive and negative poles of the solar panel are reversed, and the solar street light system will only light up once after installation. When the battery runs out, the solar street light will never light up again.
Solution: Change the positive and negative poles of the solar panel.

7. Reason: The solar panel is damaged. The solar panel is not connected to any load in the sun, and do not connect to the controller. Pull out the wire of the solar panel directly and connect it to a multimeter to test its voltage, because your system is a 12V system. Therefore, the voltage of the solar panel will be higher than 12V under normal circumstances. This system board generally uses a solar panel with a working voltage of 18V, so its open circuit voltage will be above 18V (experience should be around 18-21V). The solar street light system cannot work or the working time is not enough.
Solution: replace the solar panel.
