Smart lights rgb, rgbw, rgbw, what do they refer to?

October 29, 2022
Smart lights rgb, rgbw, rgbcw, they refer to the following

Rgb: Three-way, refers to red, green, and blue three-color light, which can be mixed to produce various colored lights.

Rgbw: Four-way, which means that in addition to red, green and blue, there is also warm white light.

Rgbcw: Five-way, which means that in addition to red, green and blue, there are also warm white light + cool white light.

Everyone knows about red, green and blue, so I won`t explain it here. So about warm white light and cool white light, we have to mention another knowledge point here, which is called color temperature value.

What is color temperature value?

In the lighting industry, the color temperature of light refers to the black body radiation, along with the temperature, the color of the light is not the same, the black body presents a gradient process from red-orange-red-yellow-yellow-white-white-blue-white. When the color of light emitted by a certain light source looks the same as the color of light emitted by a black body at a certain temperature, the temperature of the black body is called the color temperature of the light source (the same full color as the measured radiation chromaticity). the absolute temperature of the radiator).

According to the absolute temperature attribute of the color temperature of light, the color temperature identification unit of light is also the unit of the absolute temperature scale (Kelvin): K (kevin), and the color temperature is usually expressed by Tc.

When the temperature of the "black body" is higher, the blue component in the spectrum will be more, and the red component will be less. For example, the light color of an incandescent lamp is warm white, and its color temperature is marked as 2700K, which is generally called "warm white". The color temperature identification method of daylight fluorescent lamps is 6000K, because the proportion of blue radiation in the energy distribution increases after the color temperature increases, so it is generally called "cold light".
RGB
The color temperature of some common light sources are: standard candle light is 1930K; tungsten light is 2760-2900K; fluorescent light is 3000K; flash is 3800K; noon sunlight is 5600K; electronic flash is 6000K;

The color temperature of the light source is different, the color of the light is also different, and the feeling is also different.

<3300K warm (white with red) calm and warm

3000-5000K middle (white) carefree

>5000K cool type (white with blue) cold

Color temperature and brightness: Under the illumination of high color temperature light sources, if the brightness is not too high, it will give people a cold atmosphere; under the illumination of low color temperature light sources, too high brightness will give people a feeling of stuffiness.
